A dark cloud of smoke hung in the air north of the N4 all the way from
Witbank. As we approached Belfast, the sun was setting, and it started to
disperse into delicate loops above the horizon. (26 June 2009)

At the end of June 2009 a whole colony of ladybirds were gathering in the windowframes of Tembani at 3falls trout farm in Mpumalanga. I had never seen
so many (40 - 50) ladybirds together.
