| Timeline Braid The Timeline braid is spearheaded by Impendulo, a CRM and Marketing agency that is composed of Heidi Flint, Nqobile Mgiba, and Prudence Mathe. The team, inter alia, assists various communities with the establishment and/or marketing of income generation projects. The Alexandra community is one of the communities that Impendulo has a vested interest in developing. The Ansisters event is a platform where this relationship can be showcased and celebrated parallel with femininity. Rationale The Timeline Braid is the mingling of the cloth, beads, and wire, each signifying an aspect of gender, history and the change that has occurred from patriarchy rule. The Braid is expected to be ± 300 m long, and guide the guests at the event through the celebrations of femininity. Timeline is sponsored by Impedulo and The Alexandra Development Centre. top Alex Development Centre (ADC) The ADC is a Non-Profit Organisation, established in October 2003, by the community of Alexandra and the Department of Social Services and Population Development in response to high levels of poverty in the township. To address this concern, ADC established numerous skills development projects to increase the competence of its beneficiaries in various domains of economic activity. To date, they have managed to create 6 successful projects. These include beading, Baking and sewing projects. It is led by Pule Palatse (Chairman) and his dedicated team, and managed by Busi and Amos, who run the daily activities. top Sewing Project Beneficiaries List 1. Ester Ndlhovu (Facilitator) 2.
