SUMMARY OF THE ANSISTERS CONSTELLATION

The FACE project is fundamentally rooted in a value framework that finds it’s origin in Ubuntu, a traditional African system of values that reflects the qualities that have been named and accepted as traditionally female within the Western mindset.

ARTWORKS AND EVENTS 2005

The intention of a creative constellation is that it will spill over the boundaries of different disciplines and components thus creating a space wherein the viewer-participant forms the final essential point in completing the experience. Therefore many of the works invite the visitor to partake in some form of aesthetic interaction or symbolic ritual – bringing the process of art-making into the public arena. In addition, workshops utilising a powerful therapeutic technique will be practised in the constellated spaces at designated times.
